The South African Weather Services SAWS seasonal forecast reveals that the forthcoming summer season will mostly be hotter than normal and compounded by r ainfall patterns that are likely to favour above-normal rainfall.
The Weather Service says these conditions could pose public health risks and the occurrence of natural disasters, especially flooding.
