Movie lovers across the city are in for a nostalgic treat this October, as Ster-Kinekor rolls out its popular Throwback Cinema programme, offering a curated slate of classic films for the price of a large popcorn.
For just R50 a ticket, audiences can experience iconic movies like the iconic animated masterpiece Aladdin and the chilling thriller The Silence of the Lambs as they were meant to be seen on the big screen.
The initiative, which was first launched in May last year, is designed to make a night out at the movies both affordable and memorable. A report from MyBroadband outlines the October lineup, which also includes beloved romantic comedies When Harry Met Sally and You've Got Mail , as well as the modern James Bond adventure Skyfall . The programme will run at four major Ster-Kinekor complexes in the Cape Town area, providing accessible entertainment for a wide range of tastes.
