Gender Based Violence and Femicide GBVF have been highlighted as one of the grappling effects of unemployment in South Africa.
This during an institutional public lecture in honour of social activist and writer, Dr Brigalia Bam, held by the Nelson Mandela University on Friday.
The lecture was held under the theme preparing women to govern and key issues of women empowerment were discussed.
