Residents of Nelson Mandela Bay Metro and Kouga Municipality in the Eastern Cape have been warned to be extra vigilant as heavy and destructive downpours are likely to hit the area once again.
The South African Weather Services SAWS had issued a level eight warning for destructive rains in the Nelson Mandela Bay and surrounding areas from Wednesday until Thursday.
The warning comes as farmers in the Kouga and Koukamma municipalities are navigating a gruelling recovery after last months catastrophic floods.
