Gulf Bank has reopened its Al-Sabahiya branch following a comprehensive renovation, marking a key milestone in its efforts to promote sustainability standards while enhancing customer experience across its branch network.

The upgraded Al-Sabahiya branch is the first in Kuwait's southern regions to be renovated under the second phase of Gulf Bank's branch development plan. This phase includes the refurbishment of multiple branches across the country, including Al-Ghazali, Al-Zahraa, Abdullah Al-Salem Suburb, Al-Shaab, Al-Jabriya, Al-Nuzha, Hawalli, Al-Adailiya and Al-Fanar, alongside plans to open a new branch in the Sabah Al-Ahmad Residential Area. The initiative supports the bank's five-year strategy and aligns with Kuwait Vision 2035, which focuses on building a sustainable economy and reducing carbon emissions.

The renovated branch features a modern design and incorporates advanced banking technologies aimed at delivering faster and more efficient services. Sustainability has been embedded into the redesign through the adoption of green building standards, including reduced electricity consumption via solar panels, greater use of natural lighting, and smart sensors to optimise energy usage. Selected branches also include electric vehicle charging stations and expanded green spaces within and around branch premises.
