The Good Hope Centre precinct is one step closer to a major transformation, as Cape Towns Mayoral Committee Mayco has granted in-principle approval for its redevelopment, Cape town Etc reports.
This decision, championed by the City's Economic Growth Directorate, aims to harness the precincts vast potential and drive multi-million rand investments that could generate significant job opportunities for local residents.
Once the full approval is secured from the City Council, the property will go to market in a transparent and competitive public auction, anticipated for early 2026, managed by the City-appointed auctioneer, Claremart.
