The Ministry of Communication, Digital Technology and Innovations has strengthened the operational capacity of the Narcotics Control Commission NACOC by providing computers and related accessories, in partnership with the Ghana Investment Fund for Electronic Communications GIFEC.

On Wednesday, January 14, 2026, the Minister for Communication, Digital Technology and Innovations, Hon. Samuel Nartey George MP, handed over 10 laptops and 10 desktop computers to NACOC following a formal request from the Commission. The intervention is part of the Government's broader initiative to equip state institutions with the digital tools necessary to enhance efficiency and service delivery.

In his remarks, Minister George emphasized the Government's commitment to supporting state agencies with essential technology, assuring that the equipment would improve NACOC's operations and strengthen its ability to execute its mandate. He noted that the presentation represented the beginning of ongoing support, rather than a one-time contribution.
