The Executive Mayor of Gert Sibande District Municipality in Mpumalanga , Walter Mngomezulu, says they are working hard to ensure that theres adequate investment towards water infrastructure projects. He was speaking at the Gabosch Dam, which is under construction in Amsterdam.
The dam, which is the first of its kind in the province and the second countrywide, will be completed next year.
Mngomezulu says most of the communities in the area are depending on streams for water.
