French leisure company, Compagnie des Alpes, is to transform Germanys Belantis theme park near Leipzig into an Asterix and Obelix theme park by 2031.
According to Theme Parks EU , the park will be developed in phases and will open as Idefix Abenteuerland Dogmatix Adventure Land, inspired by Obelixs white terrier dog, in northern spring 2026.
By 2031, the park will include multiple themed lands, attractions and immersive experiences, based on different locations in the world of the Gauls, and will be named Asterix Park Deutschland.
