Gauteng Education MEC Matome Chiloane has pleaded with the provinces learners not to give up on Mathematics and Science subjects.
His plea comes after the province performed dismally in Mathematics dropping from 72.7 percent to 66.7 percent pass rate.
Chiloane says Mathematics, Science and Accounting are subject that will be a gateway to find job opportunities and improve the economy of the country.
