The Gauteng Department of Health will tomorrow mark World Hand Hygiene Day at the Hammanskraal Community Hall, north of Pretoria.
This is part of efforts to promote the prevention of diseases and creation of public health awareness.
The annual campaign, led globally by the World Health Organisation, has highlighted the importance of proper hand washing in reducing the spread of infectious diseases, particularly in communities with water and sanitation challenges.
