The Garden Route District Municipality in the Western Cape says no new cases of Foot and Mouth Disease FMD have been reported over the past two weeks.
The official number of farms in the region affected by the disease remains at seven.
State Veterinarian, Dr. Leana Janse van Rensburg says that all cases are still contained within the Mossel Bay area, for now.
