FutureMap Foundation, in partnership with South Africa-based Digital Skills Africa, has launched Future Skills for All FSA, a self-paced digital skills initiative aimed at equipping young people and professionals with practical, future-ready capabilities and linking learning directly to employment opportunities.
The programme is designed to support workforce development across Africa by providing accessible training that aligns with current and emerging industry needs. According to the organisers, FSA targets both entry-level learners and working professionals seeking to upskill or transition into new career paths in a rapidly evolving digital economy.
FutureMap Foundation said the initiative forms part of its broader effort to address youth unemployment and skills gaps by combining flexible learning with pathways to livelihoods. The organisers have set an ambitious goal of helping to power one million jobs by 2030 through the programme.
