Senegal lifted the 2025 Africa Cup of NationsAFCON title on Sunday after defeating host nation Morocco 1-0 in the final held in Rabat.
Pape Gueye struck the decisive goal in the 94th minute, settling a tense encounter that remained scoreless after 90 minutes. Despite sustained late pressure from the Atlas Lions, Senegal held firm to secure the continental crown.
At the end of the tournament, the Confederation of African Football CAF announced the winners of the team and individual honours.
