Freedom Day is more than a commemoration it is a reminder of a defining moment in South Africa's history.
Thirty-two years ago, millions of South Africans stood in long queues to cast their votes in the country's first democratic election, choosing freedom, dignity and the right to determine their future.
But freedom, while hard-won , does not exist without responsibility.
