ABUJA- MEMBERS of the African Democratic Congress ADC under the aegis of the Forum of State Chairmen of the party have reaffirmed their confidence in the leadership of the party at the national level led by former President of the Senate, Senator David Mark.
In a statement yesterday in Lokoja, Kogi State capital, the chairman of the Forum, who doubled as the Kogi State Chairman of the party, Kingsley Temitope Ogga, who warned the public to be wary of the antics of chairmen of the party in Benue and Nasarawa States, said that they are parading themselves as representing the leadership forum.
Ogga, in the statement made available to newsmen noted that the only member elected on the platform of the party, Hon. Leke Abejide, remains suspended indefinitely from the party and that he lacked any locus to act on behalf of the ADC.
He said, "We, members of the Forum of State Chairmen of the ADC in 34 states and the FCT, are using this opportunity to reaffirm our support in the leadership of the party as led by Senator David Mark. We stand by the new NWC led by him and all other members of the national leadership of the ADC.
