FlySafair has confirmed that it has submitted a Section 150 to the Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration CCMA for priority mediation in its cabin crew wage negotiations in the interest of protecting the travelling public.
The airline and South African Cabin Crew Association were unable to reach an agreement on Tuesday and further engagement is scheduled for November 6.
FlySafair confirms that operations remain stable following the commencement of the employer-initiated work stoppage yesterday. According to the airline, all flights have so far operated as scheduled, with on-time departures.
