Over 50 families in Diphale outside Burgersfort, Limpopo, have been left without proper shelters following persistent heavy rains and thunderstorms .
Twenty other houses in villages in the Fetakgomo- Tubatse Municipality have also been damaged after flash flooding in low-lying areas.
Residents say they have lost furniture and important documents.
