The Cape Winelands District Municipalitys Fire Services are battling a fire that has broken out at La Motte in Franschhoek.
Municipal Spokesperson, Anesca Roodt, says firefighting resources from the Cape Winelands District Municipality and the Stellenbosch Municipality are currently on scene.
She says the teams are being supported by aerial resources, contracted ground crews, and the Volunteer Wildfire Services as efforts continue to contain the blaze.
