Police counter-intelligence boss Maj-Gen Feroz Khan allegedly misled an internal police disciplinary panel, led by KwaZulu-Natal commission Lt-Gen Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi, which cleared him of wrongdoing in a chaotic cocaine seizure in Johannesburg.
This is according to W/O Steve Phakula from the SAPSs National Intervention Unit while testifying at the Madlanga commission yesterday.
He said word among staff was that the drugs belonged to Khan.
