The family of a medical intern at Prince Mshiyeni Memorial Hospital in uMlazi, South of Durban, is seeking justice following the death of their son.

The 25-year-old doctor Alulutho Mazwi died on Monday after allegedly being forced by his supervisor to work though he was ill.

It is reported that he fainted twice while on duty.

Meanwhile, the Public Servants Association PSA has lashed out claiming that it has consistently warned the Department of Health in KwaZulu Natal about the inhumane working conditions, and the abuse of power at Prince Mshiyeni Memorial Hospital.
