One of the best goalkeepers, David de Gea, marks his 35th birthday today, November 7th, 2025, Softfootball reports.
David de Gea was born in Madrid and then started his journey in football with Atletico Madrids youth system. He proceeded to make his senior debut in 2009, winning the UEFA Europa and UEFA Super with Atletico Madrid before joining Manchester United in 2011 to replace Edwin van der Sar.
In Manchester United, David De Gea made over 500 appearances and contributed greatly to the club winning the Premier League title in 2012/13 and also winning different domestic and European trophies. This made him scale up to be one of the most important players in the club.
