Manchester United has for the first time this season produced the Player and Manager of the Month in the premier league courtesy Bryan Mbeumo and Ruben Amorim, Softfootball reports.
Mbeumo was outstanding for the Red Devils in the month of October as he scored three goals and added an assist. The Cameroonian had an assist for Manchester United during the 2-0 win over Sunderland and it was the first game the Red Devils kept a clean sheet. He then opened the scoring in the 2-1 win at Liverpool before scoring a brace against Brighton Hove Albion at Old Trafford.
Mbeumo beat competition from Matty Cash Aston Villa, Bruno Guimaraes Newcastle United, Erling Haaland Manchester City, Eli Junior Kroupi Bournemouth, Nordi Mukiele Sunderland, Igor Thiago Brentford and Jurrien Timber Arsenal to become only the second Cameroonian to land the trophy, after former Liverpool defender Joel Matip, in February 2022.
