Terry Yorath, former Leeds United and Tottenham Hotspur midfielder, has passed away at the age of 75 after a brief illness.
His family shared the news in a statement on Thursday, remembering him fondly: "To most, he was a revered footballing hero, but to us, he was Dad, a quiet, kind and gentle man.
Our hearts are broken, but we find comfort in knowing he is with our brother, Daniel again."
