Ethiopian Airlines has announced the introduction of a new service between Addis Ababa and Sharjah, United Arab Emirates UAE, effective June1. Both routes will be operated with Boeing 737 MAX aircraft.

The new Addis Ababa-Sharjah route will operate four times per week:

  • Flight ET 622 will depart Addis Ababa every Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday at 22h05 and arrive in Sharjah at 03h25 the following day.
  • The return service ET 623 will depart Sharjah every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday at 04h25 and land in Addis Ababa at 07h45.

The airline is also launching new direct flights between Addis Ababa and Abu Dhabi, UAE, from July15:
