Ethiopian Airlines has opened a new US16 million premium lounge at Addis Ababa Bole International Airport. The facility is the largest lounge at the airport with capacity for up to 1 000 passengers at a time.
The 5 500 square metre lounge includes dining and seating areas, bars, an Ethiopian coffee corner, beauty lounge and shower facilities. There are also dedicated rooms for meetings, children, smoking and luggage along with prayer and quiet rooms.
The new lounge is open for Platinum and Gold members of the Ethiopian ShebaMiles loyalty program, Star Alliance Gold members and frequent flyer programme members of partner airlines.
