Qatar's national satellite operator, Es'hailSat, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding MoU with the Qatar Armed Forces QAF to enhance the country's space, defence, and communications capabilities. The agreement focuses on the provision of satellite communications services, terrestrial infrastructure, and secure networks to support national security requirements.
Under the partnership, Es'hailSat will deliver resilient and secure communication solutions designed to enhance the operational readiness of the Qatar Armed Forces. The collaboration aims to ensure continuity of communications across all operational scenarios, reinforcing the country's ability to maintain secure and reliable connectivity in both routine and critical situations.
The MoU aligns with Qatar's broader strategy to strengthen sovereign capabilities in space and defence technologies.
