Liverpool have contacted the Professional Game Match Officials Limited, PGMOL, to express their concerns about the decision to disallow Virgil van Dijks goal against Manchester City on Sunday.
The Reds were thrashed 3-0 by City at the Etihad, a result that put a huge dent on their title defence.
However, they told they had made it 1-1 following Erling Haalands goal, but Van Dijks header from a corner kick was ruled out in the first half.
