The Ekurhuleni Metro Police Department EMPD has called on the public to claim their vehicles that are currently impounded.
It says vehicles can be collected from the pound between today and June 16, from Monday to Friday, between 8am and 4pm.
EMPD spokesperson Thabiso Makgatho says, Failing to claim vehicles, they may be sold in a form of a public auction and proceeds derived from this auction will be dealt with a prescribed by regulation 3204 of the National Traffic Act NRTA 93 of 1996.
