Eight suspected kidnappers are expected to appear before the Lenasia Magistrates Court today following the successful rescue of a kidnapped man in Gauteng.
The 43-year-old victim was abducted earlier this month while travelling with his wife and was later held at a hostel in Soweto.
Police say the breakthrough came after an intelligence-driven operation, that led to multiple arrests across Johannesburg and Soweto.
