The East London magistrates court has found Economic Freedom Fighters EFF leader Julius Malema guilty in his firearm discharge case.

However, it acquitted his co-accused and former bodyguard Adriaan Snyman after a marathon judgement that started on Monday and ended on Wednesday 1 October.

Malema guilty in firearm case

Malema was charged with the unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition, discharging a firearm in a built-up area or public place, failure to take reasonable precautions to avoid danger to persons or property, and reckless endangerment of people or property.
