Construction activity is under way at the R10 billion Insimbi Ridge Development in Cato Ridge, with heavy equipment already on site, according to the Presidential eThekwini Working Group PeWG.
The update formed part of a broader progress report on infrastructure and investment projects in eThekwini, where the PeWG said cranes and other yellow plant were already operating at the site.
The development was launched in November last year by Assore SA PropCo and Rail Development Corporation RDC as part of a planned logistics precinct on the Durban-Gauteng corridor.
