Drama In Mk Party As Jacob Zuma Suspends His Deputy John Hlophe

uMkhonto weSizwe MK Party leader Jacob Zuma has suspended his deputy and the partys parliamentary caucus leader John Hlophe.

In a statement issued late on Wednesday night 5 November, the party also announced that it had nullified Hlophes decision to remove Colleen Makhubele as its chief whip in Parliament and replace her with Des van Rooyen.

Hlophe made the changes on Tuesday without a collective consultation while Zuma was in Burkina Faso, MK Party said.
