Johannesburg Public Safety, MMC Mgcini Tshwaku says the growing disputes linked to hijacked buildings in the inner city has led to multiple deaths as rival criminal syndicates threaten each other.
This follows the assassination last week of Warrick DJ Warras Stock outside a building in the Johannesburg CBD.
It is believed that Warras - whose security company was contracted to audit and secure a hijacked building - discovered alleged illegal activities.
