Deputy Minister In Presidency Concerned About Sa Journalists Safety

Deputy Minister in the Presidency Kenny Morolong has expressed concern about he safety of journalists in the country. This follows his visit to the family of the missing journalist, Sibusiso Ndlovu at KwaMhlanga in Mpumalanga.
Ndlovu, founder of Capital Live FM was reported missing on the 18th of February together with his partner Zodwa Mdhluli. Deputy Minister Morolong says hes confident police will make headway in their investigation.
The media is the lifeblood of our democracy and we see this as an attack not just on the media freedom but we also see this as an attack on our constitutional democracy and thats why we are encouraged by all the efforts undertaken by the police to ensure that those who are responsible for this hidous act are brought to book.
Ndlovus mother is inconsolable after the disappearance of her son. She says not knowing where her son is and what he eats breaks her heart.
Government officials and police have visited the home of Ndlovu to offer support and solidarity.
