A 29-year-old man from Delft, Mogamat Yusuf Daniels, was shot dead on the evening of 24 September while trying to sell an iPhone to a buyer he had contacted on Facebook Marketplace Cape town Etc reports.
He had planned to marry on 4 October and hoped the sale would help cover wedding costs.
Yusuf arranged to meet the buyer at an Engen garage in Ottery. Then two girls contacted him and showed interest saying that their father is going to buy the phone for them, Abduragman Jacobs told Daily Voice .
