The Gauteng Education Department has cautioned the public against spreading false information about the ongoing matric examinations .
This comes after misleading reports circulated on social media, claiming that the Mathematical Literacy question paper would be rewritten.
The departments spokesperson, Steve Mabona says that any fake news that circulates leaves a negative impact on candidates therefore community members should be mindful of what they are saying.
