Its that time of the year when local airline FlySafair runs its annual birthday sale and on Wednesday, 6 May 2026 from 09:00, travel enthusiasts in South Africa get a chance to buy 50,000 flight tickets for just R12 each.
The airline revealed the promotions date and time via its social media pages on Tuesday 5 May. This followed several days of heightened anticipation at it dropped hints ahead of its 12th birthday.
FlySafair 2026 R12 ticket saleIn the promotions terms and conditions , FlySafair said it would make available 50,000 one-way flight tickets at a base price of R12 each on domestic routes only. Unlike last years sale, this base fare excludes airport taxes, fuel surcharges and VAT that will be added when you book.
