The Democratic Alliance DA has announced plans to present a motion to remove the Acting Corporate Services Director of Stellenbosch municipality, following allegations of racism.
Alexander Kannemeyer has come under fire after a video surfaced showing him making racially charged remarks about white employees.
In the footage, Kannemeyer suggests making life difficult for white workers to force their resignations and claims that appointing skilled candidates often prioritizes white men, a practice he says must end.
