The Democratic Alliance DA has again called for the removal of the Gauteng Health MEC, Nomantu Nkomo-Ralehoko and the Health Department head, Lesiba Malotana.
This follows a revelation that the department has an outstanding debt of R8 billion for the 2024-2025 financial year.
The DA says 12 of the countrys R67 billion budget for the current financial year will be spent on paying last years debt, further crippling service delivery at health facilities.
