Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly threatened to leave Al Nassr after the World Cup despite continuing to train normally with the club. The Portuguese star is not expected to feature against Al-Ittihad this Friday after missing Al Nassr's Saudi Pro League win over Al Riyadh .

Ronaldo is said to be making a series of demands before returning to competitive action. If those changes are not implemented, he will not play again, continue training until mid-year, and then leave Al Nassr, even though he still has one year remaining on his contract.

The central issue revolves around autonomy in the transfer market. Ronaldo reportedly wants Al Nassr executives to have greater freedom in recruitment decisions. Simao Coutinho and Jose Semedo, club executives appointed by Ronaldo, allegedly had transfer targets blocked by the Public Investment Fund PIF.
