Five players have been awarded their maiden full national contracts, with Cricket South Africa announcing the Proteas mens and womens squads for the 2027/27 season.
Among the 18 men who have signed contracts, seam bowler Ottneil Baartman, all-rounder Corbin Bosch, and batters Matthew Breetzke and Dewald Brevis have penned national deals for the first time.
Spin bowler Simon Harmer has also been awarded a hybrid contract.
