The Committee on Economic and Financial Affairs of the National Assembly has unanimously approved the 2026 budget for the Ministry of Digital Transition and Digitalisation. The budget, presented by Minister Ibrahim Kalil Konate, totals FCFA 83,275,503,595 and reflects the government's strong commitment, under the leadership of President Alassane Ouattara, to strengthen the country's digital infrastructure and ensure broader connectivity across Cote d'Ivoire.

The 2026 budget is structured around four major programs: general administration, the digital economy and postal services, support for the development of new technologies in urban areas, and the regulation of the electronic communications sector. These initiatives aim to enhance digital performance, promote innovation, and ensure that citizens across the country can benefit from the opportunities provided by digital technology.

The adoption of this budget represents a significant step toward a more modern, inclusive, and digitally connected Cote d'Ivoire, positioning the country to capitalize on emerging technologies and improve access to digital services nationwide.
