In our previous article, Travel News incorrectly stated that Dubrovnik would impose a 40 R820 daily entrance fee for all day trippers from 2026. In fact, the new booking system applies specifically to access to the City Walls. Individual visitors wont pay an extra levy but will need to plan visits in line with real-time crowd predictions.
Dubrovniks Mayor, Mato Frankovic , told The Independent that from the beginning of next year, travellers would need to reserve the day and time of their visit.
Visitors will be required to obtain a Dubrovnik Pass for entry to museums, galleries, monasteries, and the City Walls.
