A 39-year-old man has appeared in the Pietermaritzburg Magistrate's Court charged with the murder of his ex-wife, Aleyka Shaik, who was pregnant with twins.
The accused has been remanded in custody until his bail hearing on April 7.
He allegedly stabbed the victim during an argument while she was collecting her daughter.
