The City of Johannesburg has again sought to dispel claims that R4 billion went missing from Joburg Waters accounts.
This emerged during the briefing on the citys water progress update in Johannesburg.
The head of the Citys budget office, Charity Wurayayi says, The city runs sweeping accounts for each of its entities that fall under the umbrella of City of Jhbs banking accounts. So, on a daily basis each entitys bank accounts sweep into the citys primary bank account.
