Three suspects are expected to appear in a local Magistrates Court in Clocolan in the Free State on Monday after being arrested on Friday last week following a farm attack in the area.
Police spokesperson Mmako Mophiring says the suspects forced their way into the farmhouse and demanded valuables on Wednesday night. Two of them raped a woman who had been hiding in a wardrobe.
Mophiring says a joint operation between police and local farmers led to the swift arrest of all three suspects in Hlohlolwane, where a stolen firearm was also recovered.
