A 40-year-old resident of Clanwilliam, near Citrusdal, Shaun Titus has received a 10-year prison sentence for dealing in methamphetamine, Cape town Etc reports.
The sentence was handed down in the Clanwilliam Magistrates Court, where Titus was found guilty under the provisions of the Drugs and Drug Trafficking Act 140/1992.
The case stemmed from an incident that occurred on December 20, 2021, at approximately 2:50pm. Members of the West Coast District Rural Flying Squad were conducting routine surveillance when they observed Titus leap from the back of a suspicious vehicle parked at a garage in Citrusdal, adjacent to the N7 National Road.
