City Power says the first phase of its electric vehicle EV charging project will focus on installing standard charging stations across Johannesburg.
The initial rollout includes over a dozen chargers capable of powering vehicles in under an hour, significantly faster than the older systems.
The Utilitys Acting CEO Charles Tlouane says this phase is aimed at testing demand, and encouraging more residents to consider electric vehicles.
