Thousands of young people are turning to City of Cape Town libraries for career guidance, with attendance at this years career expos reaching its highest level yet, Cape town Etc reports.
As posted by the City of Cape Town, a total of 6 355 learners attended career expos hosted at City libraries during the first half of 2026. The figure represents a significant increase from the approximately 4 500 attendees recorded in 2025.
The City also expanded the programme this year, increasing the number of career expos from 13 to 18 across different communities.
